Ascot Racecourse Supports - Children Heard & Seen Art Exhibition

ROYAL ASCOT GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS SELLING FAST - THURSDAY & SATURDAY EXPECTED TO SELL OUT FIRST

On Saturday, 15th July, we were delighted to welcome beneficiaries of Children Heard and Seen (CHAS), a charity established in response to the lack of support available to children impacted by parental imprisonment.  Whilst families of crime victims rightly receive support in the aftermath of an offence, the offender’s children, who are also completely innocent, are left isolated and without support, facing additional stigma and shame from their community.

On the day, the children exhibited their artwork which was the culmination of a group activity in partnership with Give a Book for children that used “The Boy, the mole, the fox and the horse’ by Charlie Mackesy as inspiration.

In recognition of the charity’s work and our support, we also named our 3.30 race “The Ascot Racecourse Supports Children Heard and Seen Handicap Stakes”.
